GENEVA! is spreading their unique blend of four-part harmony throughout southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Our music revolves around the four-part a cappella style, blending a predominance of classic barbershop-style arrangements with sacred and contemporary barbershop tunes.

Our highly varied repertoire consists mostly of mid-tempo and up tunes – the stuff good shows are made of! Whether you desire a taste of classic barbershop with ballads like “Wild Irish Rose” or uptunes like “Hello Mary Lou”, whether you’re in the mood for more modern charts like our jazzy “Darkness on the Delta” or the sassy “Sentimental Gentlemen from Georgia”, or whether you’re lookin’ for a little religion with our “Gospel Medley”, we can assemble an entertaining and variety-packed show for you.

As the only District finalist quartet of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) in the Southern Lakes area, we’ve been blessed with a variety of performance opportunities.

We were selected by the Village of Hoffman Estates’ Sister Cities Commission to be the featured musical act for a five-day celebration of American music in Angouleme, France, in November, 2005

We’ve performed all over the Southern Lakes area, including for corporate events, civic ceremonies, charity fundraisers, and the National Anthem for Opening Day at the Wilmot Speedway

We’ve delivered dozens of Singing Valentines in the Lakes area

We won the Novice Quartet trophy in the April, 2002, Land O’ Lakes Division One BHS contest

We were quartet finalists in the October, 2005, Land O’ Lakes District BHS contest

We’re featured on several Barbershop Harmony Society and Sweet Adeline chorus shows

Our quartet provides a flexible, affordable, and interesting program to people of all ages. We generally require no power or equipment of any kind, which makes it easy for us to move around and to sing in nearly any venue, indoor or outdoor, rain or shine. Typical show packages are 20-30 minutes in length, however other alternatives are always available. Our fee structure is also flexible to accommodate your program needs.
